• International Girl Guides/Girl Scouts aged 14-17 years by 1 September 2025.

• Adult – Registered Adult Members 18+ years of a State Girl Guide Organisation or other National Girl Guide/Girl Scout Organisation.

There will be no part-time youth participants.

Part-time adult participant roles will be advertised soon if required.

We are working on a fantastic lineup of activities exclusively for our 14-17 year-old Guides. While we are still working on the details for further expeditions, below are some that are already in the planning phase:

• Gold Coast theme park package

• Brisbane CBD tour and shopping

• Overnight rail trail bike tour

• Tweed River kayak expedition

• Mt Tamborine - Tree tops zipline, sky walk and bushwalks

• Overnight hiking expedition

• Farm stay

• Surf camp

Final costs for the overnight expeditions are still to be determined. We will release a document of the expeditions with any additional costs when we have this information finalised.

Subcamps for 10-13 year-olds will be Region/State-based, e.g. Group 1, Subcamp 1 might be Adults and Youth from North Pacific Coast, Group 1 Subcamp 2 might be Western Australia, Group 1 Subcamp 3 might be Central West and Twin Rivers joined together etc. During the day, Youth will split into activity groups/patrols with Youth from the other States/Regions.

The 14-17 year-old subcamps will be based on the expeditions being undertaken.

Yes! Members of a Member Organisation within the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts are invited to attend.

Applications for Jamboree 2025 close on 31 March 2025.

No, as the Australian Jamboree 2025 - Bush 2 Beach is a National Event and separate application form, this will not show on your regular Guide database.

The Inclusions and Access Team Manager and Welfare Team Manager, along with their teams will work with all participants who have identified additional needs to ensure all requirements are met before, on arrival and during the Jamboree.

The Catering Manager and her team will work with participants who have dietary requirements to ensure everyone is adequately fed.

All meals will be fully catered for the duration of Jamboree. All dietary requirements listed on application forms will be catered for.

If this is put on your application, we will ensure that you are put in the appropriate location onsite with power to your campsite.

You will be contacted by the First Aid, Inclusion, Welfare or Wellbeing Team Member to discuss required needs.

If anything changes with your child’s or your medical needs, please ensure you contact the Jamboree team.

All Youth will be required to complete a minimum of six nights under canvas and Trefoil Camping 2 before attending Jamboree. This will be regulated by States/Regions. As part of your six nights this can be from previous camps in the last two years to make up your six nights.

All 14+ Jamboree applicants can choose one overnight expedition to add to their Bush 2 Beach adventure!

Registrations for these exciting expeditions will open after Jamboree applications close. Once they are open, attendees will be sent an email where they can nominate which expedition they would like to attend.
